Follow Your Favourite Photographers
Posted: Sunday, 15 March 2009

We've recently added a dedicated newsfeed for each of our contributing photographers. This allows you to subscribe to their personal blogs and get live updates when they announce new photo sets, travel itineraries, planned projects etc.

It's a quick and easy way to stay in touch with those photographers whose work interests you the most.

Just look for the photographer's  'News' link in the left margin on any of their personal pages, and then click the orange RSS button. Follow the prompts and their newsfeed will be added to your preferred newsreader.

Calling All Photo Researchers!
Posted: Sunday, 15 March 2009

We've been getting a lot of photo buyers coming through lately looking for professional help with researching their projects. Previously we've always referred these Clients to various third party photo-research services.

However, we do realise we've got a lot of regular Clients who are professional Photo Researchers, so we've now set up a directory where you can enter a short business profile and offer your services. I don't know how much business might come of it for you, but you never know. Once we have a few businesses listed we'll add some prominent links to the Client area of the site and see how it goes.

So if you offer any sort of professional photo research services we encourage you to add your details ASAP. We'll give you a detailed listing and a reciprocal link back to your own website. If you have any questions or suggestions, please do contact us.

OzImages Events Calendar
Posted: Sunday, 15 March 2009

We recently set up an interactive Calendar of special events with a 'photographic' interest factor. Our photographers are busy adding items of interest from their many locations and it's really starting to fill up.

We're aiming for the slice of local culture as well as the major international events, so next time you're looking for ideas and inspiration  you can have a quick look here and see what's coming up!

When you find something of interest you'll have the added bonus of already knowing a photographer on site!

We'll shortly be adding a form for Clients to submit new items as well so please keep an eye out for that and feel free to post a note about any upcoming events, anywhere in the world, that you might be interested in seeing coverage of.

There's no obligation involved in any of this, this is just another way for you to connect with our photographers and find fresh new content of interest.
