Spotted Quoll (Dasyurus maculatus)

We live on a hundred acre property in Wollombi, in the Hunter Region of NSW. When we first moved to the property we were often woken at night by what sounded like a fox with a sore throat barking. After some investigation we discovered that the rocky, sclerophyll forest behind the house was populated by several very active quolls. And so began our interest in these cute, but somewhat noisy, and perpetually hungry Australian marsupials.
