Caroline Telfer is a freelance photographer listed on the OzImages Stock Photography Library as follows:
As I live in a rural agricultural area in Western Australia this is evidenced in my photographs, although I am primarily a portrait photographer. I prefer to use natural light where possible, and enjoy photographing on location.
Going digital in 2003 has brought a change in my photographic output. Originally working in B&W, colour is now featuring strongly in my photographs.
My bread and butter work is studio portrait photography.
My background is in Art rather than pure photography. Consequently I enjoy photoshop and will manipulate photos to achieve the look I require.
Establishing a studio at 37 Burrowes Street in Darkan in 2006 has increased the output of my studio work.
My first solo exhibition "Woman's Work" (see OzImages gallery exhibit of the same name) was well received when shown at the Perth Centre for Photography on May/June 2007.
Caroline is based in Darkan WA, Australia and lists the following interests: People are my main interest. I love photographing people. I love sitting in a shopping centre and watching people. If you see me staring at you I am probably wondering how you would look in a photo.
My children of course are another great interest. I have four young children aged under 10 years, and they feature in many of my photographs.
