Johannes' work features landscape images with emphasis on the Australian High Country. He specializes in producing fine prints of archival quality which are usually ready for dispatch within 24 hours. Although his recent images are in high resolution digital format, he has an extensive film library dating back to the early sixties. Other subjects include people, events, architecture and items of topical interest.

Over 40 years experience as a photographer, the last 10 as a professional. Have won a number of awards including 3 of the 12 monthly awards in Nikon's "Pictures of a Millennium" competition in 2000. Recently represented in Australian Geographic's "Twenty-Five Years of Australian Geographic Photography".
